ASAM Level 2.1 Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program is a structured group treatment setting designed to provide education and support to those diagnosed with a substance use disorder. This program is designed for individuals 18 years and up and services are delivered 3 days a week for 3 hours per day.

Individuals are assessed and an individual service plan is developed based on the needs of the individual to assist and support them in their goals for recovery. Throughout this program, individuals will learn about addiction, how addictive behaviors have long-reaching consequences, and how to bring about change in order to regain control over their addiction and their lives.

Upon successful completion of the SAIOP program, individuals will transition to the lower level of services, ASAM 1.0 Individual Counseling, along with engaging in peer support services, to continue to strengthen their support for their long-term recovery, while becoming more independent in their recovery practices.
