We believe in Changing Lives 365 Days
The mission of Because We Care II, Inc is to provide mental health skill-building services to adults in an effort to teach strategies and techniques to help strengthen and improve their mental health, physical health, independence, and overall well-being.
Because We Care II, Inc is an organization serving adults with mental health disorders in the State of Virginia through group, family, and one-on-one counseling. The program provides mental health skill-building learning for persons with mental health disorders and developmental disabilities.
Our program assists the individual toward goals of training to reach his or her maximum physical, social, emotional, and intellectual potential. Our ultimate goal is to have individuals acquire those skills that will enable them to function as independently as possible.
Our goal is to allow individuals to live in the least restrictive environment that is appropriate to their needs. Mental health disorders may include major depression, anxiety, bipolar, ADHD, schizophrenia, OCD, PTSD, dementia, autism, and substance abuse issues.

Asking for help is not a sign of weakness!
Relying on others, experiencing needs and limitations, and asking for help are all part of being emotionally strong and of the human experience at large. Asking for help is not a burden nor a sign of weakness; it's a sign of humanness.
Know Your Mental health!
Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood
